The reference is on the confirmation page you saw after ordering, in the form OD-1A2B3C4D. The email is the one you typed at checkout — or, if you paid with PayPal or a card, the one you gave PayPal. Quotations start with a Q and have their own page. Lost the reference, or it will not match? Write to support@oligodirect.com from the address you ordered with and we will look it up by hand — the lookup is deliberately strict, so a mismatch is more often a typo than a missing order.
The stages, and what each one means
Seven of them. A stage appears with the date we recorded it and nothing appears before that, because a date we guessed would look exactly like a date we knew.
Order received
It is with our order desk. We confirm every sequence, flag anything that needs a quote, and what shipping and duties will come to, then send you the total in writing.
Confirmed and scheduled
You have the confirmed total. Stocked lines are being picked; custom lines have a synthesis slot.
In synthesis
Solid-phase synthesis on a column, then cleavage from the support and deprotection.
Purification and QC
Purified to the grade on your order, then checked by mass spectrometry. The certificate of analysis is issued here, per oligo, and travels with the shipment.
Packed for export
Lyophilised and labelled. Commercial invoice, HS code and customs paperwork issued.
With the courier
Collected. The air waybill is below — the courier’s own tracking is more current than anything we could copy onto this page.
Delivered
Signed for at your address.
A batch does not move as one lump. A desalted primer can be finished while a probe in the same order is still being purified, so the stage shown is the one the whole order has reached — the slowest line in it. If you need part of a batch early, say so and we will split the shipment; the second parcel carries its own shipping.
